Draft and Peer Review
Draft. Teams should have all the pieces (audio, visuals, footage, etc.) they intend to bring together into their music festival organized in a rough draft timeline. This draft will be close to the final product in duration. Teams must be ready to discuss the theme, genres, topics, and issues reflected in their music festival line-up.
Peer Review. Teacher will assign teams in pairs to discuss their work, outline, and take a look at their draft. They will then provide feedback on the flow, interludes, and structure.
Lesson Closure
- At the end of the period, teams should share their posters with the whole class, asking peers and the teacher for additional suggestions of categories that are not yet covered in the posters.
- Students should leave posters in the classroom to return to in the next lesson.
