Final Presentations
- The remainder of the unit is at the teacher’s discretion.
- The teacher will hand out the Native American Music Festival Scoring Guide regardless of which project completion/presentation options are selected.
- Students’ individual work will be judged based on the role they performed for their team, and how well that defined role was accomplished in the final product.
Presentation Options and Logistics
Large Group Presentation Option. Teams will take turns introducing and presenting their planned festivals to their peers, and hand out the “Native American Music Festival Scoring Guide.” Students will observe and score their peers during the presentation of their music festival.
Group-to-Group Presentation Option. Teams will be paired and present their work to one-other team.
After the presentation, teams will sit down and fill out the “Native American Music Festival Scoring Guide.”
Presentation Guidelines
- Save questions for after the presentation has concluded.
- Pay attention and follow their peers’ presentations.
- Presentation should include the role each team member played, struggles, successes, and overall experience designing a festival.
